Cosmetic cult brand 19-69 was founded by the Swedish artist and product developer Johan Bergelin. A twenty-four month long creative process with artisans in Scandinavia, France and Italy lead to the launch of 5 perfumes in 2017.

The name 19-69 stands for freedom, tolerance and counterculture. The inspiration includes different iconic moments of counterculture throughout history. Art, music and different cultures have also left their marks on the products in terms of content, names and packaging. The different colours symbolise a rainbow which in 1969 stood for peace and freedom.

Each scent is inspired by a different era, culture or setting from Africa, Europe, the States and Asia. Art, music, trends and cultures have all left their marks on the fragrances both in terms of content, name and packaging. All fragrances are suitable for any gender.p>

"Villa Nellcôte is a 16-room mansion of the Belle Epoque, previously occupied and used as headquarters by the local Gestapo during the Nazi occupation of France. In the spring of 1971, new rebellious tenants and their colorful entourage hosted the property for six months. The barefoot hippies, the beautiful settings and the dark past were a perfect match resulting in a rock album that to this day inspires people across borders and nations. The fragrance is the embodiment of the magnificent garden and beautiful surroundings of the estate.” An aromatic, floral and refreshing scent.

A blend of the finest vegetable waxes in traditional formula from 1961 is used for the 19-69 candles. Hand crafted in Italy. Candle will burn for approximately 48 hours.
