Shipping Policy


This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

Information contained in this Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through our online store, in-store, or via any other sales channels.

Your shipping rate will be automatically calculated on check-out after you have provided us with your shipping address, postal code and country. the OBJECT ROOM asks that you ensure you have provided the correct address, postal code and country, as in the situation that an incorrect address and/or postal code has been entered, your order may be delayed, and we may need to contact you for clarification before your order can be sent.

All purchases made through our online stores and require to be shipped will be processed within 24 hours at the latest, or within 1 hour if you have chosen Same Day Delivery or Pickup In-Store before daily cut-off time, providing that payment has been received by us. Unless you have chosen Same Day Delivery or Pickup In-Store, if your order is made on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, your order may not be shipped or collected by our shipping company until their next business day. We will notify you via email or SMS once the order is ready to be shipped or is available to be picked up in-store. A tracking number or pickup detail will be provided in this email or SMS. All shipments will include tracking and insurance.

Same Day Delivery service is only available for order shipments to Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan areas that are within 30 km from our store, excluding any products marked as Oversized Shipping. You may check from our coverage area map. In the situation where your order cannot be delivered due to no one is being present or able to receive the shipment, your order will be returned to us, and a re-delivery fee may apply.

the OBJECT ROOM does not have permission to give any special delivery instructions to shipping companies (“Leave at door”, for example). If you wish, you may contact the shipping company directly once you have received your tracking number from us as most companies will only allow the recipient to provide permission for such requests.

Please note that your order’s shipment is insured up to the point of final delivery at the provided shipping address. If you have requested a special delivery or on-demand delivery instruction with the shipping company, the insurance will be ceased at the time of delivery. the OBJECT ROOM is not responsible if your shipment is stolen, lost or damaged after the final delivery at the provided shipping address, or any other address that you have requested for special delivery or on-demand delivery with the shipping company.

Special delivery or on-demand delivery instructions include but are not limited to, leaving the shipment at a certain place at the provided shipping address (such as reception, lobby, front door, garage or neighbour for example, regardless of whether or not it is attended or secured), redirecting the shipment to an alternative address or pickup service point or locker, waiving signature release, putting the shipment on hold, or any other instruction that breaks the normal chain of delivery.

Some products are deemed to be oversized when either their weight or size is greater than what is considered as standard-sized shipping with the shipping companies, whilst some products are available for pick up only due to them being too fragile to be shipped. Any products that requires oversized shipping or pickup in-store will be indicated on the product detail page.

We reserve the right to modify any shipping service or shipping fee at any time without notice, which includes any Free Shipping promotion.

Shipping Within Thailand

the OBJECT ROOM uses KEX Express for order shipments to all areas within Thailand, with the exception of some orders which include products marked as Oversized Shipping. Shipments that include products marked as Oversized Shipping will be sent with either KEX Express or DHL eCommerce.

For Same Day Delivery service, order shipment will be sent with GrabExpress or LaLaMove to Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan areas that are within 30 km from our store. See coverage area map.

Please note that KEX Express, DHL eCommerce, GrabExpress and LaLaMove do not deliver to Post Box or Post Bag addresses.

You may refer to the charts below for information on shipping fees and targeted time of delivery within Thailand. Please note that targeted delivery time is an estimated, non-guaranteed time of delivery once the shipment has been collected by the shipping company, and does not include any time for processing of your fully paid order.

The processing cut-off time for Same Day Delivery service is 6pm daily. Orders made after such time will be processed on the following day during store opening hours, which is not included in the target delivery time.

¹ Excludes processing time of up to 24 hours during store opening hours. Business day refers to Monday to Saturday, excluding any Traditional or Government Holidays. KEX Express and DHL eCommerce may not deliver on Saturday in certain areas. Delivery to rural or remote addresses may take extra days to the standard targeted delivery time.

Pickup In-Store

the OBJECT ROOM provides pickup in-store as an option for your convenience. You may pick up your order personally or by designating an alternate pickup person, including your messenger. If the person who will be picking up the order is someone other than the person who made the order, please notify us of this before pickup is made.

Please note that if you are designating an alternate pickup person, you must notify us before the pickup. Without your notice in advance, we are not able to release your order to anyone other than the person who made the order. Once your order has been picked up, the OBJECT ROOM shall not be held responsible if your order is stolen, lost or damaged.

Once your order is ready for pickup, we will notify you by email or SMS if you provided us with your mobile number - usually within 1 hour during store opening hours. When picking up your order in-store, you or your alternate pickup person must show a valid government-issued photo ID, for example, Thai ID, driver licence or passport.

Orders will be kept in-store for 7 days after your order has been placed and you have received the Order Confirmation email. If your order has not been picked up within 7 days, we will return all products to stock and the total amount that you paid will become an in-store credit.

Should you require the order to be shipped instead, standard shipping rules apply. If your order is subject to a shipping fee, you are required to make such payment before your order is shipped.

Shipping Outside of Thailand

FedEx

the OBJECT ROOM uses FedEx for order shipments to selected countries outside of Thailand. Please note that FedEx do not deliver to Post Box or Post Bag addresses. Due to security reasons, we do not ship to freight forwarding companies, nor to any address deemed to be a re-direct service address.

Should you require delivery to any country not listed, please contact us before purchasing online. The shipping fee will be based on your shipment’s actual volumetric weight. Due to the complexity of this shipping fee calculation, we will need to process the shipping fee on a case by case basis, and your order will be processed manually. Please contact us and we will be more than happy to arrange this for you.

You may refer to the charts below for information on shipping fees and targeted time of delivery outside of Thailand. Please note that targeted delivery time is an estimated, non-guaranteed time of delivery once shipped, and does not include any time for processing of your fully paid order.

Products marked as Oversized Shipping will be calculated by the shipping actual and volumetric weight. Should your order include any products marked as Oversized Shipping and not able to find the shipping rate, please contact us and we will be more than happy to arrange this for you.

Delivery to some post codes, suburbs and towns may attract an Out Of Delivery Area Surcharge as determined by FedEx. An Out Of Delivery Area is defined as a post code or in the absence of post code, a suburb or town name that is difficult to serve. Should FedEx alert us of a surcharge, we will contact you by email with all the information, and you would have the right to cancel your order should you not accept the surcharge quoted.

Delivery to rural or remote addresses, and some cities or towns that FedEx do not have a major hub in may take additional working days on top of the standard targeted delivery time.

* Excludes products marked as Oversized Shipping. Currently, all products marked as Oversized Shipping require a manual process for shipping outside of Thailand, and the shipping fee will be calculated according to the size and weight of the shipment.

Duties and Taxes for International Customers

All orders placed on the OBJECT ROOM are exclusive of import-related charges, including but not limited to customs clearance fees, import duties, and import taxes.

While buyers or recipients are responsible for these charges, the OBJECT ROOM aims to provide a smoother delivery experience by handling the import clearance process in advance of shipment, where possible. This helps ensure greater transparency and fewer unexpected charges at delivery.

Customs duties and taxes vary by country and are determined by local customs authorities. Some countries offer de minimis thresholds, under which shipments may be exempt from duties and taxes, while others offer little or no exemption. For specific information regarding duties, taxes, and exemptions in your country, we recommend contacting your local customs authority directly.

Once your order is received, the OBJECT ROOM will assess the order value in coordination with FedEx and the destination country’s customs regulations.

If the order value is below the applicable de minimis threshold, your order will proceed to shipment.

If the order value exceeds the de minimis threshold, we will contact you by email with a detailed breakdown of the applicable import duties, taxes, and related charges. In this case, advance payment is required before the order can be shipped.

Should the import charges are not accepted, or should payment is not received within three (3) calendar days from the date of the notification email, the order will be cancelled automatically. A full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Although the OBJECT ROOM facilitates the import process in advance, shipments may still be subject to additional customs inspections, documentation requests, or clearance procedures, which may result in delays beyond the estimated delivery timeframe.

Certain countries may impose restrictions or special requirements on the importation of specific products, potentially involving additional procedures or costs. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with such requirements prior to placing an order. the OBJECT ROOM is not responsible for any additional costs or delays arising from country-specific import restrictions or regulatory requirements. For further clarification, please consult your local customs authority.

Shipping Policy Update

the OBJECT ROOM may at times make changes to our Shipping Policy. For this reason, we recommend that you refer back to this page from time to time.

If this update occurs, we will post the new policy on our websites. Once posted, the new policy will go into effect immediately, replacing any previously stated policy. Your continued use of our websites constitutes your consent to the revised Shipping Policy.

Translation

This Shipping Policy may be translated into other languages for your convenience. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the other language versions, the English version shall prevail.
