Payment currency for purchases made via our websites is New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Whilst the content of your cart might be displayed in your selected currency, the currency conversion is provided only as a reference. the OBJECT ROOM uses online payment gateways - Shopify Payments and PayPal, to process all credit card and e-wallet payments. All transactions are secure and encrypted by your selected payment gateway. the OBJECT ROOM also accepts offline payment by bank transfer (via ATM, branch, internet banking and mobile banking) as a payment option for our New Zealand customers. By using an either online or offline payment method, your credit card, e-wallet or bank account details will not be saved by us.

the OBJECT ROOM does not charge any convenience fee, service fee, credit card or bank fee, currency exchange fee or any transactional fee by using any payment method we provided. However, if your credit card, e-wallet, or PayPal account’s main currency is other than New Zealand Dollars (NZD), your credit card, e-wallet provider, or PayPal may charge foreign transaction fees. Please note that the OBJECT ROOM is not responsible for such fees. Please contact your credit card or e-wallet provider for more information.

No payment shall be deemed to have been received until we have received payment in cleared funds. Payments made via online payment gateway are authorised immediately, whilst offline payments’ clearance times can vary, which depends on your bank.

"SP THE OBJECT ROOM" will appear on the cardholder’s or e-wallet’s statement for any transactions made. All credit card and e-wallet online payment transactions are secure and encrypted.

There is no surcharge from us for using credit cards or e-wallets as your payment option. However, if your credit card or e-wallet’s main currency is other than New Zealand Dollars (NZD), your credit card or e-wallet provider may charge foreign transaction fees. the OBJECT ROOM online stores accept online payment through PayPal. "PAYPAL *OBJECTROOM" or "PAYPAL *THEOBJECTROOM" will appear on the cardholder’s statement for any transactions made through PayPal by a credit card. Please note that PayPal may have restrictions on the use of credit card type or PayPal balance based on the account registered countries or regions.

You will be redirected to PayPal to process your payment. All PayPal online payment transactions are secure and encrypted. You are required to have a PayPal account and log in to complete the payment transaction. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will have the option to create an account. Please note that the OBJECT ROOM does not use the PayPal Guest Checkout option.

When using PayPal, your PayPal account must be registered in the same country as your shipping address. Please note that PayPal may not allow cross-border shipping. Depending on the country or region that your PayPal account is registered in, PayPal may restrict your order's shipping address to be in the same country. For example, if your PayPal account is registered in the USA, but you have entered a shipping address in New Zealand for your order, PayPal will display an error message and your PayPal payment will not be processed.

the OBJECT ROOM online stores accept offline payment by bank transfer (via ATM, branch, internet banking and mobile banking) as a payment option for our New Zealand customers. Please note that we are not able to accept international bank transfers through Telegraphic Transfer (TT) for our international customers.

Once you have completed your order, your order will be pending. You will find our bank information on the final order confirmation page, as well as the order confirmation email.

We will process your order once the payment has been cleared into our bank account. Please be in mind that payment clearance times can vary, which depends on your bank.

BNZ is our dedicated bank. You may make a cash deposit at one of the BNZ branches or ATMs. To use internet banking or mobile banking to transfer payment, you are required to have such a service setup before making a payment.

There is no surcharge from us for using bank transfer as your payment option. However, your bank may charge a transaction fee based on your bank account product type. Please note that the OBJECT ROOM is not responsible for such a fee. Please contact your bank for more information.
